The church is not a building, it’s a group of people. We will flood our social media accounts with our own 1-2 minute testimony videos on Easter Sunday. On Easter Sunday Pastor Jason will mention these videos and the hashtag we will use with them. With Easter brunches canceled and the stay at home movement in effect, this could easily be the most impactful Easter Sunday we each get to be a part of.
The church is not a building, it's a group of people. The sharing of the gospel doesn't start and stop with the Pastor or Worship Leader, it is spread rapidly by individual people sharing their stories of how Jesus changed their life. We are each called as followers of Jesus to tell our story. We will celebrate Easter by publicly proclaiming what Jesus has done for us and lives will be changed!
Anyone who is a follower of Jesus with a phone can participate in this project. From about 13-100+ years old we each have a story to share in the name of Jesus. Whether shy or outgoing, Jesus calls us to spread the message of who He is and what He has done. There is power in YOUR story. Can you take the step to share?
Simply record a video of yourself on your phone. In about 1-2 minutes share what your life was like before knowing Jesus, how you came to know him, and how your life has changed because of him. End your video by saying, “And that is how Jesus changed my life.”
Upload your video on Easter Sunday to your social media platforms; facebook, instagram, snapchat, instastory, tiktok, etc. When posting please make the post public (if you’re a teen please ask permission first or post on private, your friends will still get to see the gospel!) and use the hashtag #JesusChangedMyLife
